Thunder loses 45-39

The Mahoning Valley Thunder dropped to 1-1 this season after a 45-39 loss to the Manchester Wolves in af2 action Saturday night at the Chevrolet Centre.

The Wolves scored the go-ahead touchdown with 15 seconds left to win their opener. The Thunder nearly tied it on the game's last play but DeMarcus Mathes was ruled out of bounds on a possible touchdown pass from Josh Swogger.
