Glassman-Jacobs troth announced, wedding planned

X Announced by Jan and Alan Glassman of Center Barnstead, N.H., and New York City, and Lynn Jacobs of Canfield, is the engagement of their children, Jennifer E. Glassman and U.S. Army Capt. Nathan P. Jacobs, both of New York City.

Miss Glassman graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Me., with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies.

Capt. Jacobs, also a son of the late Paolo Jacobs, is stationed at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point. He received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Ohio University in Athens, a juris doctorate from Ohio State University in Columbus and a master of law degree from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.

The couple have planned a wedding in July.
