Pirates’ Nady comes through in extra innings again

ATLANTA — Xavier Nady drove in Nyjer Morgan with a 10th-inning single and the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Atlanta Braves 4-3 Thursday night.

The Braves used seven pitchers after Mike Hampton’s much-anticipated comeback was postponed by a chest injury suffered in pregame warmups. Jeff Bennett started in Hampton’s place.
