Elizabeth Gilliam, Jay Ference plan Sept. 6 wedding

X CORTLAND — Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gilliam of Cortland announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth K. Gilliam of Sharon, Pa., to Jay B. Ference of Fowler, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis R. Ference of Hermitage, Pa.

The future bride graduated from Kent State University Trumbull with a bachelor’s degree in office technology. She is a career-enhancement technician for the U.S. Air Force at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.

The prospective groom graduated from KSU with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace technology. Capt. Ference is a pilot in the Air Force and is employed at the air base.

The couple plan to marry Sept. 6 in Warren.
