Browns’ Kenny Wright arrested on marijuana charge

PEARLAND, Texas — Cleveland Browns defensive back Kenny Wright was arrested Thursday after police said he led them on a quarter-mile foot case that began in the parking lot of the police station.

Wright, 30, faces a misdemeanor charges of unlawful restraint, evading arrest and possession of marijuana. He remained in the Pearland City Jail Thursday night pending a bond hearing today.

Pearland is about 15 miles south of Houston.
