Amy Evans will be June 21 bride of Eric Diefenderfer

X AUSTINTOWN — Amy Evans and Eric Diefenderfer are engaged, the couple and their parents, all of Austintown, announce.

Miss Evans is the daughter of Ron and Nancy Evans, and Mr. Diefenderfer is the son of Ron and Trish Diefenderfer.

The couple will exchange vows at 1:30 p.m. June 21 in an open ceremony at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.

The bride-to-be graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown state university with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and special education. She is employed as an intervention specialist for Austintown School District.

The prospective groom graduated cum laude from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education and is pursuing a master’s degree at Walsh University in North Canton. He is employed as a science teacher in the Boardman School District.
