Historical society plans dinner and concert

MERCER, Pa. — Mercer County Historical Society, 119 S. Pitt St., is inviting the public to an annual dinner and a concert by the MCHS Chamber Players on April 20.

The dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the social hall at the Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel. Afterward guests will meet in the sanctuary, where Frank Stearns will direct the Chamber Players in a concert. A cookie and punch reception will follow.

Reservations for the dinner are available for $10 until April 16 by mail or at the MCHS office. No reservations are required for the free concert and reception. For more information, call the society at (724) 662-3490.
