Boardman seeks citizen volunteers to serve on boards

BOARDMAN — Township trustees are seeking letters of interest from residents who want to serve on either the township board of park commissioners or the civil service commission. Letters should be submitted by April 9 to the Boardman Township Government Center, 8299 Market St., Boardman 44512, Attn: Stephanie Ouzounian. An appointment to both commissions is expected to be made at trustees’ April 23 meeting. More information on the duties of the park commission may be found in Ohio Revised Code Section 511.23. More information on the duties of the civil service commission is available on the township’s Web site, www.boardmantownship.com, under administration.
