Austintown investigate cash theft

AUSTINTOWN — Police are investigating the theft of $820 in cash from the office at FuelMart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive Monday afternoon. An employee told police that the money was taken between 2 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. from a cash register in the gas station’s office. The employee turned over a video tape to police of the store and office area. The tape had not been viewed at the time the police report was filed.
