CANFIELD
March 21:
Drug abuse: A 24-year-old East Palestine man was arrested on possession of marijuana . E. Main Street and Hood Drive.
Passing bad checks: Bernard Daniels Lumber Co., 250 Railroad Street reported receiving two bad checks, one for $42.82 and another for $85.69.
March 22
Drug Paraphernalia: An 18-year-old Canfield woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found approximately 0.5 grams of marijuana, a pipe with marijuana and rolling papers at her home in the 100 block of Oak Drive. A 19-year-old Austintown man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass after police found a brown and black wood pipe with marijuana residue on him. March 27
Drug abuse: Police arrested a 20-year-old Warren woman on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia when police found marijuana a pipe, and two alprazolam pills and a marijuana cigarette. An 18-year-old Newton Falls man was also arrested for possession of marijuana both on N. Broad Street.

March 24
Telephone harassment: A man suspect is accused is making harassing phone calls to a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.
Theft: An employee was short-changed at McDonald’s, 5526 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Three juveniles were involved in damage to siding at a home in the 100 block of Idlewood Road.
March 25
Bad checks: A man is accused of passing bad checks at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into and miscellaneous tools were stolen in the 3000 block of S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Attempted auto theft: Damage to a steering column of a vehicle as reported in the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.
Theft: A victim’s credit card was used in an ATM machine in Peruva, Spain.
Fraud: A telephone account was opened in a victim’s name at an apartment in the 4000 block of New Hampshire Place.
Criminal damaging: A screen door was damaged at a home in the 3000 block Huntmere Avenue.

Break-in: A 2003 Freightliner was forcibly entered at FYDA Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A purse was stolen and later found with $40 cash missing at the Thrift store, 1733 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Checks and cash were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Evelyn Avenue.
Burglary: A residence was forcibly entered and a vehicle stolen from a garage in the 200 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: A Kawasaki 20-inch bicycle was stolen from a home in the 400 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.

Attempted burglary: A man cut the screen on an apartment and then fled in a black vehicle at Compass West Apartments.

Harassment: A female was followed by a resident’s son at Meridian Arms, 650 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: A ladder, scaffold, toolbox and other items were taken from a pickup at Knights Inn, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Receiving stolen property: Two men were placed in county jail and two juveniles were placed in the Juvenile Justice Center for receiving stolen property at Forest Hill Drive at Huntmere Avenue.
Theft: Two males were arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Menacing: Threats were made to a residence in the 4000 block of New Road.
Criminal damaging: A house was spray painted in the 4000 block of Carnegie Avenue.
