Plans announced for Jaelyn Farris and Joseph Martin

XNEW CASTLE, Pa. — James and Lynda Farris, 225 W. Winter Ave., are announcing the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jaelyn Farris, 2743 Rockne Drive, South Bend, Ind., and Joseph Martin, 2624 Anzio Ave., South Bend.

Parents of the prospective groom are Dennis and Barbara Martin, 15678 Windingbrook Drive, Mishawaka, Ind.

The couple will exchange vows during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at St. Elias Orthodox Church. Invitations are being issued for a reception to be held that evening at The New Englander.

Miss Farris, who received her bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and her master’s in education from Youngstown State University, also holds a doctorate from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, where she is an Edward Sorin Postdoctoral Fellow.

Mr. Martin is an accountant after earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Indiana University in South Bend.
