Checkpoint leads to one DUI arrest


WASHINGTONVILLE — A 3 1/2-hour sobriety checkpoint Saturday evening, in which police checked 628 vehicles on state Route 14, yielded one drunk driving arrest, according to the Mahoning County OVI (operating a vehicle impaired) task force. There were also two citations each for driving without a license and having expired plates, one for possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia and one for driving under license suspension.
