GM VEHICLES \ Assembly sites


In a tentative labor contract, GM made commitments to build current or future products at 16 plants:

Arlington, Texas: Large sport-utility vehicles until 2012; full-sized truck and SUV replacement starting in 2013.

Bowling Green, Ky.: Corvette and Cadillac XLR continue until 2011. Replacements for those starting in 2012.

Hamtramck, Mich.: Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS until 2010; Chevrolet Volt hybrid electric vehicle starting in 2010; product on global small car platform starting in 2009; Chevrolet midsized car in 2012.

Fairfax, Kan.: Chevrolet Malibu and Saturn Aura continue until 2011; global midsized Buick and Saturn in 2009; Chevrolet large four-door notchback in 2010.

Flint, Mich.: Full-sized pickup and heavy-duty commercial cab until 2011; medium-duty truck until 2008; new versions of the pickup and heavy-duty commercial cab in 2012.

Fort Wayne, Ind.: Full-sized pickup and light-duty pickup through 2011; replacements for those products in 2012.

Janesville, Wis.: Large SUVs continue until 2012; medium-duty truck until 2009; full-sized SUV replacement starting in 2013.

Lansing/Delta Township, Mich.: GMC, Saturn and Buick large crossovers until 2011; replacements for those products in 2012, plus a Chevrolet large crossover in 2011.

Lansing/Grand River: Cadillac CTS, STS and SRX through 2009; Cadillac CTS wagon and CTS coupe in 2009; two new rear-wheel-drive large cars in 2011.

Lordstown: Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 through 2009; unnamed four-door notchback model based on Gamma platform in model year 2010 and unnamed vehicle based on Alpha platform in model year 2011.

Orion, Mich.: Pontiac G6 continues through 2013. No product listed after that.

Pontiac, Mich.: Full-sized pickups and light-duty and heavy-duty pickups through 2011; replacements for the full-sized, light-duty and heavy-duty pickups beginning in 2012.

Shreveport, La.: Hummer H3 SUV and pickup, Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon midsized pickups through 2011; H3 SUV and pickup replacements in 2011.

Spring Hill, Tenn.: Chevrolet crossover until 2012; a new SUV in 2011; replacement for the Chevrolet crossover, dependent on demand and business case.

Wentzville, Mo.: Chevrolet and GMC large vans through product life cycle beyond 2012; next-generation of those products dependent on demand and business case.

Wilmington, Del.: Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky continue until 2012. No product listed after that.
