Lordstown plant

Since the facility opened in 1966, Lordstown employees have assembled several vehicle models. The list:

Chevrolet Impala, Caprice and Bel Air, 1966 to 1970.

Pontiac Firebird, 1967 to 1969.

Production begins on GMC and Chevy vans, 1971 to 1994.

Chevrolet Vega, 1971 to 1977.

Pontiac Astre, 1975 to 1977.

Chevrolet Monza and Pontiac Sunbird, 1977 to 1980.

Chevrolet Cavalier, 1982 to 2005, and Pontiac Sunfire, 1995 to 2005.

Cobalt and Pontiac G5, 2004.
