Childrens Museum seeks groups for Spooktacular event

YOUNGSTOWN — The Children’s Museum of the Valley, 139 E. Boardman St. downtown, seeks participation from area nonprofit groups for its second annual Halloween Spooktacular, noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 13.

Nonprofits that serve children and/or families are invited to raise awareness of their organizations by passing out fliers to parents and candy to area youth who are between the ages of 2 and 12. There is no charge to participate. The museum also invites organizations to set up a display about their institutions. Contact the museum no later than Oct. 8; space is limited.
