‘Pastels’ is topic for ‘Connection’


YOUNGSTOWN — On Sunday’s “Community Connection” host Madonna Chism Pinkard will interview Karen Fears and Ina Madison of the New Bethel Baptist Church Drama Ministry to discuss their upcoming production of “Pastels,” a play about a church choir seeking a new choir director.

Also on the show will be members of the Warren Civic Chorus, who are planning their annual presentation of Handel’s “The Messiah.” And Liz Norha, director of the Children’s Museum of the Valley will discuss new projects at the museum and a free trick or treat event for children.

“Community Connection” airs at 6:30 a.m. on WFMJ-TV 21, and is rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Time Warner Cable channel 15 in Trumbull County.
