Pavlik fight will make for late Sunday paper

Dear readers,

We are making the best plans we can to deliver with your Sunday Vindicator thorough coverage of Kelly Pavlik’s championship fight.

To do so, we will be holding deadlines Saturday night, which will cause late delivery of your Sunday newspaper.

The fight is set to start around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, which is normally about the time we print the Sunday paper.

Your reporters on the scene, Joe Scalzo, John Goodwin and Bill Lewis, will work the story for about an hour after the fight ends, and we will hit the presses soon afterward.

The changes could make our papers up to two hours late.
