New water tank coming to South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — The city’s board of control approved a land lease deal today with Mahoning County for a 1.5 million-gallon water tank to better serve the South Side and Boardman.

The city doesn’t have a time frame for constructing the tank. The project is estimated to cost $3 million.
