ON THE TOUR Historic churches

The Sacred Landmarks Trolley Tour will include visits to four historic churches in Youngstown, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. They are:

First Unitarian Church of Youngstown, 1105 Elm St. The colonial-revival style has classic form and features. It was built in 1925.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 343 Via Mount Carmel. The church has a towered facade with octagonal belfry and has Ionic columns. The church was established in 1908.

St. John Lutheran Church, 1429 Mahoning Ave. The church dates from 1903 and is Slovak in origin.

St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave. The church has High Gothic architecture. The church cornerstone was blessed in 1924.

Cost: $20 a person includes lunch.
