XYOUNGSTOWN — Daniel Barton and his bride, the former Malinda Nelson, left for a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui after their wedding July 7 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Jennifer Williamson officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple were honored during a reception later that day at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Center, Liberty.
The bride is a daughter of Dave and Chris Nelson of Austintown, and the groom is a son of Rick and Kathy Barton of Mineral Ridge. They live at 4340 Maureen Drive, Austintown.
The bride’s strapless white gown featured a layered cathedral train.
Holly Pekalla, the honor attendant, wore a chambord gown. Champagne-colored gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Ashlee Gollner, Susie Nelson, Becky Holt, Laura Revetti, Sara Nelson, Aimee Gollner, Tracie Herbst, Erin Barton and Kelley Mulholland. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Rowland, and flower girl was Zoe Simon.
Serving as best man was Jeff Barton, and groomsmen were Chris Barton, Korey Nelson, Eric Humphrey, Rick Monaco, Mike Cross, Eddie May, Adam Kralka, Brian Barton and Kevin Barton. Junior groomsman was Tyler Nelson, and ring bearer was Zak Simon. Guests were ushered by Kyle, Aaron, Brett and Ryan St. John.
Mrs. Barton graduated from ETI Technical College in Niles and is an associate paralegal with L.F. Wolf Contracting in Hubbard.
Mr. Barton is a machine operator with Cross Construction in Mineral Ridge.
