HUBBARD — Amherst Steele, led by Stephanie Jarvis, bounced back from a first-game loss to defeat Hubbard for the championship in the Hubbard Volleyball Classic Saturday. Jarvis was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. The all-tournament team consisted of Stephanie Kanan, Amherst Steele; Lauren Ferguson, Hubbard; Brittany Lange, Hubbard; Jackie Carlisle, Hubbard; Ellen Murphy, Southeast; and Brittany Koogle, Canton. Third place went to Akron Hoban, which defeated Canton GlenOak, 22-25, 25-23, 28-26.
