A look back

Some of the strikes and work stoppages in the Mahoning Valley since 2002.

November 2003: Union workers at Astro Shapes in Struthers go on strike. New pact reached in December 2003.

November 2004: Union employees of The Newspaper Guild Local 11 go on strike against The Vindicator. The strike ends in August 2005.

June 2007: Union employees at General Electric Mahoning Gas plant in Niles go on strike. Strike ends two days later.
