NanoLogix audit
HUBBARD — NanoLogix said it has completed a financial audit and expects to announce the results within two weeks. The Hubbard-based company said the audit is a crucial step in achieving its goals to obtaining financing, exploring partnerships and gaining full report status with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company, which used to be known as Infectech, is conducting tests at a juice plant and sewage treatment plant, both in Erie, Pa., to obtain hydrogen from juice residue and sewage sludge. It proposes using the hydrogen to generate electricity.

GM exporting Enclaves
WASHINGTON — General Motors Corp. signed a deal worth more than $800 million on Monday to export Buick Enclave sport-utility vehicles to China over a four-year period beginning in 2008. Under the deal, GM will send 5,000 of the SUVs to China each year.
Facebook deal in works?
SAN FRANCISCO — Setting the stage for a possible bidding battle, Microsoft Corp. is mulling an investment in Facebook Inc. that would value the rapidly growing online hangout at $10 billion or more, according to a report published Monday. The Wall Street Journal said Microsoft is holding preliminary discussions that could culminate in a $300 million to $500 million investment in Facebook, a Palo Alto social-networking site founded just 31⁄2 years ago.
In exchange for the money, Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft would receive up to a 5 percent stake in privately held Facebook.
