Poland native to sign copies of her book

POLAND — Kalamazoo, Mich., author and Poland native Carrie McGath will give a reading then sign copies of her book, “Small Murders,” at 11 a.m. Saturday at Poland Library, 311 S. Main St. McGath, a graduate of Poland Seminary High School and Ohio University, wrote “Small Murders,” a collection of poetry, as her master’s project while at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Published in 2006 by New Issues Press as a trade paperback, the work retails for $14. Copies will be available at the reading.
