Man indicted on kidnapping, rape charges

LISBON — An East Liverpool man has been indicted by the Columbiana County grand jury on two counts of rape and two counts of kidnapping. The indictment was made pubic today.

James McKahan, 28, is accused of kidnapping a girl he knew in West Virginia, and taking her to his East Liverpool home, tying her up and raping her. The 20-year-old woman escaped when he left his house. The alleged acts took place on Sept. 5 and 6.
