XYOUNGSTOWN — The outdoor wedding of Jessica Spohn, a daughter of David and Mary Spohn, 1101 Old Furnace Road, and Jay Kihm, a son of Kenneth and Regina Kihm, 1028 Shannon Road, Girard, took place July 6 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.

Officiating at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony were Capt. Douglas and Stella McGuire.

Afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at the Saxon Club. They have returned from a honeymoon at Las Vegas and live at 4525 New Hampshire Place, Austintown.

The bride’s strapless A-line gown of white satin was trimmed in red, and she held a bouquet of crystals.

Blue and red gowns were worn by the bride’s twin sister and honor attendant, Jennifer Brindisi, and the bridesmaids, Rebecca George, also her sister; Michele Schultz, her cousin; Kristina Diana; and Rachel Maine. Flower girls were her nieces, Gretchen, Emma and Moira George.

John Kihm performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Michael Graziano, Matthew McCombs, Joseph Ponzio and Spencer McCrea. Ring bearer was the groom’s cousin, Korey Kihm.

Mrs. Kihm is employed in customer service with Giant Eagle of Boardman. She earned a bachelor’s degree in art at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a degree in education

Mr. Kihm, a machinist with Duramax Marine in Hiram, is pursuing a degree in respiratory therapy at YSU.
