CANFIELD
Sept. 20
Drug abuse: A 19-year-old Rootstown woman was arrested on charges of possessing drug instruments and drugs after police found two used syringes on her, empty small plastic bags, and two Darvocet pills at East Main Street and state Route 11.
AUSTINTOWN
Sept. 17
Burglary: There was no forced entry in a burglary at an apartment in the 3000 block of Lynhaven Road.
Theft: A total of $15 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Kohl’s gift cards were taken from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Sept. 18
Breaking and entering: A chain-link fence was cut and numerous trees stolen at Mashorda’s, 5627 Mahoning Ave.
Bad checks: A man is accused of passing bad checks in the 300 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Misuse of credit card: An unauthorized purchase made on a credit card was reported at a home in the 300 block of Rutland Avenue.

Theft: A GPS navigational system was stolen from an auto after the passenger window was broken out at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft: An AM-FM/CD-DVD stereo was stolen from an auto when the rear hatch window was broken out at Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Money and a blank check were stolen in the 100 block of Westminister Avenue.
Theft: A wallet was taken from Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at National City Bank, 4949 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A screen was cut and entry gained at a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Burglary: No forced entry was found but tools were stolen from a garage at a home in the 100 block of Maple Leaf Drive.
Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 10 block of Pineview Drive.
Fraud: Money was taken from a checking account at a home in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.
Theft: A total of $39 in fuel was stolen at BP, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Menacing: Threats were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: Six NASCAR coats were stolen from the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A total of $15.02 in fuel was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Two bicycles were stolen from a yard at a home in the 100 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A stereo, iPod and credit card were stolen from an auto parked in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.

Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested and placed in Mahoning County Jail after entering several vehicle in the lot at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated robbery: A man was robbed at gunpoint of his wallet at Taco Bell, 851 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damaging: A rock was thrown through a vehicle window in a driveway at a home in the 3000 block of Almerinda Drive.
Burglary: Prescription medication was stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of Wilcox Road.
Theft: A cell phone was taken from a home in the 5000 block of Baylor Avenue.
Lost or stolen wallet: A woman’s pink wallet was lost or stolen at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave., and credit cards in the wallet were later used.
