Women’s outreach tour
to stop at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. — The national 2007 Women’s Economic Development Outreach Tour will stop at Grove City College on Oct. 19. The event, which is hosted by the college’s entrepreneurship program, will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 19 in Sticht Lecture Hall in the Hall of Arts and Letters. The conference, which is in its seventh year, is designed to provide women business owners with advice for strategic business growth.

The 2007 conference will focus on how to use online services, successfully outsource business solutions, develop strategic partnerships and analyze financial statements to ensure a secure financial future. Registration for the event is $35. Interested women business owners can register at www.we-do.net.

Pain treatment center
plans event at office

BOARDMAN — Allied Pain Treatment Center will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Tuesday at its new office at 950 Windham Court, Suite 1. Dr. Faroq Moonda, an anesthesiologist, has opened the office.

He received his medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. He offers treatment for arthritis, back pain, cancer pain, neck pain and other ailments.
