The prices of scrap metal vary from place to place. Here are spot market prices per pound as of last Friday, depending on the amount for sale.

Old mixed aluminum:
29-38 cents.

Old yellow brass:
$1.05-$1.75.

No. 2 scrap copper:
$2.65-$2.80.

Nickel scrap: $9.93-$13.24.

Stainless scrap:
58-78 cents.

Here are prices paid by Niles Iron and Metal Co., Niles, as of last Friday.

Aluminum cans: 65 cents.

Aluminum, regular clean: 55 cents.

No. 2 scrap copper: $2.45.

No. 1 scrap copper: $2.70.
