The Youngstown school board awarded contracts this week for the construction of a new Paul C. Bunn Elementary School in Boardman Township. Successful bidders are:

General trades: $5,259,000: DeSalvo Construction of Hubbard.

Plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical and technology: $2,595,300: Conti Corp. of Lowellville.

Cabling: $113,500: Mid West Telephone of Girard.

Fire protection: $111,900: S.A. Comunale of Warren.

Temperature controls: $119,800: Johnson Controls of Youngstown.

Landscaping: $64,280: Landscape by Design of Hubbard.
