Taylors observe 50th anniversary at buffet dinner

XSALEM — Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Taylor, 7294 W. Pine Lake Road, gathered at Greenford Community Building on July 28 to celebrate the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosting the buffet dinner were the couple’s children and their spouses, Mark and Karrie Taylor of Greenford, Dan and Vickie Taylor of Warren and Keith Taylor of Greenford. The couple’s grandchildren are Kara, Brayton, Julie and Jordan Taylor.

As a surprise, the Al Hreno Band provided music for the event.

Mr. Taylor and the former Eileen Schrum were married July 27, 1957, at Austintown Community Church by her uncle, the Rev. Willis Bishop, and the Rev. John Armburst. The Taylors are members of Greenford Christian Church.

Mrs. Taylor, a homemaker, was employed by Dollar Savings and Trust Bank. Mr. Taylor retired in 1997 from Tru-Cut Inc.
