Police arrest man on loud-music charge

YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested David E. Patton Jr., 29, of the 100 block of Lakeview Avenue, about 5:30 p.m. Sunday after he was given a verbal warning about 31⁄2 hours earlier about playing music loudly at his residence.

When police arrived the second time, they spoke to neighbors across the street, about 75 feet away from Patton’s residence, and the music was clearly heard. He was arrested on a charge of loud music being prohibited from a residence and taken to Mahoning County jail. Patton also had been cited for the same reason Sept. 20, the police report said.
