XBERLIN CENTER — Amy Gedra, a daughter of Doug and Martha Gedra of North Jackson, and Brian Kale, a son of Harry and Jayne Kale of New Middletown, were united in marriage during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Russell Libb on Aug. 25 at Berlin Center United Methodist Church.

A reception was held afterward at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall to honor the couple before they left on a wedding trip to St. Lucia.

Since their return, they live in Poland.

A satin sash enhanced the bride’s strapless gown fashioned of white lace.

Melissa Renner, the honor attendant, wore a black gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jennifer Castilla, Erin Croft, Melissa Miller, Joleen Estok, Molly Cramb, Sevasti Hadzigeorge and Holly Stefanoff, the bride’s cousin.

Matthew Kale performed the duties of best man for his brother, and serving as groomsmen were Alex Gedra, the bride’s brother; Eamonn Kerrigan, Todd Miller and Michael Hodge.

Mrs. Kale, a registered nurse at Forum Health Northside Medical and St. Elizabeth Medical Center, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Mr. Kale earned a doctor of pharmacy degree at Lake Erie College of Medicine in Erie, Pa., and is a pharmacist with Rite Aid in Newton Falls.
