HUBBARD — Beginning Tuesday, and continuing through Friday, Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound at the U.S. Route 62 intersection in the township will have various lane restrictions from 8 a.m. through 3 p.m. for patching work.

Age restrictions posted
at Mountaineer resort

Chester, W.Va.— Pursuant to the recently passed Racetrack Table Gaming Act, no one under 21 will be permitted to enter designated gaming areas at Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort as of Oct. 7. The Racetrack Gaming Act stipulates 21 as the minimum age to enter areas where either table games or video lottery machines are operated. Those areas at Mountaineer will include the casino area on the hotel side and the casino area trackside. The parimutuel minimum betting age continues to be 18 and the Grandstand area will remain open to all ages. Restricted gaming areas will be clearly posted.

Depression program

NORTH LIMA — The Beaver Township Crime Watch will host a “Dealing with Depression” discussion at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shepherd of the Valley, 9111 Sharrott Road. Rob McBride from Child and Family Solutions of HSK Inc. will talk about dealing and living with depression, recognizing the signs and symptoms of depression and helping someone with depression. New 4-H Dog Club
starting in Mahoning Co.

CANFIELD — There will be an introductory meeting for a new 4-H Dog Club that will be forming in Mahoning County. Participants should plan on attending if they are interested in learning obedience, agility, rally obedience, showmanship, grooming and handling and AKC and UKC junior handling for dog shows. The meeting will be at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., at 7 p.m. Tuesday. If you are between ages 8 and 19, you can become a part of the new club.
