Aircraft mishap causes no injuries

SOUTHINGTON — A small aircraft went off the runway while landing today at Skeet’s Airport along U.S. Route 422 northeast of Warren. There were no injuries.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol at Southington said the pilot and a passenger were landing to refuel about 5:30 p.m. when the plane went off the runway, causing minor damage to the aircraft.
