Pastor sent to prison on sex charges

KENTON, Ohio (AP) — A pastor who admitted to sex charges involving two girls has been sentenced to two years and four months in prison.

The sentence in Hardin County against Paul Leffler could allow him to serve just one month.

Prosecutors say Leffler used his position as pastor of Freedom of the Spirit Church in Kenton to get close to the teenage girls.

They say he had sex with one girl and had been trying to get close to another.

Leffler pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition.

He didn’t say anything before the sentencing Wednesday.
