Man pleads guilty to 1994 OSU murder

COLUMBUS (AP) — A Columbus man has admitted killing an Ohio State freshman in a slaying that stunned the campus 13 years ago.

Jonathan Gravely pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated murder and kidnapping in the death of 18-year-old Stephanie Hummer in 1994.

A judge sentenced Gravely to 25 years to life in prison.

Police say Hummer was abducted while walking home near the edge of campus.

Her body was found about 10 hours later in a field. She died from a blow to the head.

She was from suburban Cincinnati.
