Sankofa programs open to public

YOUNGSTOWN — Sankofa will celebrate its fourth anniversary with its S.E.E.D. (Sankofa Economic Educational Development) program, which offers workshops, forums and hands-on experience in self sufficiency, sustainable living, disaster preparedness, business development and self defense.

It also focuses on blackonomics, community gardens, eco-friendly housing and natural health, and helps develop leadership skills.
