CANTON — Senior Jessica Winters scored the first goal at the 25:23 mark, followed by junior Lea Byers’ tally for Boardman (7-0-1, 4-0 Federal League). Sophomore Taylor Deley assisted on Winters’ first-half goal while senior Jenn Libbey had the assist on Byers’ point which came with 18 minutes remaining. GlenOak freshman goalkeeper Nicki Becks made nine saves, while Boardman sophomore goalkeeper Cheyenne Khatib made five stops. JVs: Boardman 4, GlenOak 1.

Fitch 4, Lake 2

UNIONTOWN — Dana Lucido scored two goals while Kayla Shuttleworth and Tiarra Sanders had single goals for Fitch (5-3-2, 2-2 Federal). Lucido, Shuttleworth and Sanders are seniors, as is Sammie Shaffer, who assisted on Sanders’ goal. Lake goalkeeper Dani Fieschman made eight saves while Fitch freshman goalkeeper Ali Tolich made five stops. JVs: Lake 2, Fitch 1.

Poland 2, Niles 0

NILES — Jordan Palumbo and Alicia Taylor scored for the Bulldogs (4-2-2, 3-1-1 Metro Athletic Conference). Kelly Storkel and Sam Roberstson had assists while goalkeeper Erin Eckman made seven saves. For Niles, goalkeeper Gabby Belcastro made nine saves. JVs: Poland, 7-0.

Howland 4, Canfield 0

CANFIELD — Anna Wall scored two goals for the Tigers (6-0-3, 5-0 MAC) who are in first place. Megan Long and Gina Albani each had a goal. Alexa Williams had two assists while Kelley Drew, Carmen Alberini, Jessica Wilson and Tyler Nicholas had one apiece. The Tigers had 11 shots on goal and the Cardinals (3-4-2, 3-2) had three. Casey Haering made three saves for the Tigers. Anokha Padubidri made six saves and Kelly Fening had one for the Cardinals. JVs: Canfield, 4-0.

Badger 3, Pymatuning Valley 0

ANDOVER — Amelia Deraway scored two goals and Shawna McNeely the other for the Braves (6-3-1, 2-1-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Deraway and Adrianna Braho had assists. Katy Dvorak made six saves in goal and Kelsey Flowers had two. For Pymatuning Valley (3-7-1, 1-2), goalkeeper Lauren Seman made 10 saves.

Beaver Local 5, Springfield 1

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Brittany Dowd scored two goals for the Beavers (11-1-1). Abby Allen, Alexis Thrasher and Andrea Eisenhart added one apiece. Thrasher had two assists while Allen, Dowd and Natalie Bowdler each had one. Hannah Chapella scored the goal for the Tigers on an assist from Alex Pizutto. The Beavers took 26 shots on goal and the Tigers had eight. Goalkeeper Heather Cozak made 18 saves for Springfield (5-2-1). Missy Headley made four saves for the Beavers. AUSTINTOWN — Dana Hinebaugh, Kalia Buckley and Hannah Snyder each scored three goals while Katelyn Tondo-Steele scored two for the Irish (5-0-1). Goalkeepers Nikka Bonamase and Teresa Carkido made seven and five saves, respectively.

SALEM — David Kanotz scored two goals while Patrick Connors had a goal and an assist. Tim Hutchinson had an assist while goalkeeper Jared Turocy made six saves for Canfield. The Cardinals outshot the Quakers, 14-7. Theo Keniston scored and Rick Samu made seven saves for the Quakers.

South Range 4, Columbiana 2

COLUMBIANA — The Raiders, behind 2-0 at halftime, rallied four four goals to prevail. Alex Baker scored two goals, while Nick Sheetz, who had two assists, and Joe Stephenson each had a goal for the Raiders.

VIENNA — Freshman Ethan Fiest scored two goals for the Mustangs (4-2-0). Jake Klinger and Kevin Moyer scored the other goals. Goalkeeper Nate Bohach made 12 saves. Tim Merlino scored both goals for Bristol (2-7-0). Goalkeepers Joe Zlar, John Evans and Shawn Lamosek combined to make eight saves.
