Copper plumbing stolen from Boardman house

BOARDMAN — A real estate agent for Colorado man who owns a house in the township reported a break-in and the theft of copper plumbing.

The agent told police that he arrived at the Glenwood Avenue home about 6 p.m. Wednesday and discovered the damage.

The house, which is vacant, was last intact earlier this month.

The burglars broke into the house by prying open a rear door then covered the basement windows with insulation they took from the walls. They then cut out and removed the copper plumbing.

Neighbors police spoke to didn’t report seeing anything suspicious.
