Thanks to foreign auto companies, industrial boom towns are still springing to life. Here are the latest:

Greensburg, Ind. — $550 million Honda Motor Co. plant will open in 2008, and employ about 2,000 to make four-cylinder vehicles. Population 10,500.

West Point, Ga. — $1.2 billion Kia Motors Corp. plant will open in 2009, and employ about 5,500 to make cars. Population 3,350.

Blue Springs, Miss. — $1.3 billion Toyota Motor Corp. plant will open in 2010, and employ 2,000 to make the Highlander. Population 154.
