Ohio man killed in fall at W.Va. power station
BELMONT, W.Va. (AP) — Authorities on Monday released the name of a Marietta, Ohio, man who fell 200 feet to his death in a construction accident in West Virginia over the weekend.
Kinsey Culp, 37, died Saturday at the Pleasants Power Station in Belmont, according to the Pleasants County Sheriff’s Department.
Culp was a construction worker with Pullman Power Co., which is installing a new chimney at the power station, according to Allegheny Energy spokesman Allen Staggers.
Culp was working inside the 600-foot chimney when he fell.
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
