Brooks-Childs engagement is announced

XYOUNGSTOWN — Andre’a S. Brooks and Kelly L. Childs, both of Youngstown, are announcing plans for their forthcoming marriage. The future bride is a daughter of Cherol Brooks of Youngstown, and Mr. Childs is a son of Jinny Childs, also of Youngstown.

The couple have chosen Oct. 20 for their open wedding to take place at 5:30 p.m. at Lockwood United Methodist Church in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for a reception that evening at the Blue Wolf Banquet Center in Boardman.

Miss Brooks attended Youngstown State University and is a certified medical assistant with Endocrinology Associates of Ohio in Canfield.

Her fiancé is employed as a team leader at the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown.
