“Live from Lincoln Center” (8 p.m., PBS): Cellist Yo-Yo Ma is the featured performer as the New York Philharmonic starts its 166th season with a live concert. Conducted by Lorin Maazel, the orchestra will perform an all-Dvorak program. The televised series is beginning its 32nd year on the air.

“Beauty & The Geek” (8 p.m., CW): A new edition brings another new twist — a hunky dude and a geeky girl.

“Elvis: Viva Las Vegas” (9 p.m., ABC): Recording stars perform some of “the king’s” classic hits, interwoven with footage from his Vegas shows from 1969-76.
