LINCOLN, Neb. — Top-ranked Southern California ran through, around and all over Nebraska.
Stafon Johnson ran for 144 yards and one of USC’s five rushing touchdowns and John David Booty threw two short TD passes in a 49-31 victory Saturday night.
The Trojans (2-0) piled up 313 yards rushing and won for the 61st time in 67 games.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Ryan Perrilloux looked nothing like a backup quarterback in his first career start for LSU, throwing 298 yards and three touchdowns.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Andre Woodson threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Steve Johnson with 28 seconds left and the Wildcats beat a top-10 team for the first time in three decades.

ATLANTA — Matt Ryan threw for a career-best 435 yards and the Eagles shut down Georgia Tech’s Tashard Choice.
Ryan was 30-of-44 in the third 400-yard passing game of his career, which included a 39-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Robinson.

LAS VEGAS — Colt Brennan ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more to lead Hawaii to an easy victory. Playing three quarters, Brennan completed 26-of-32 passes for 298 yards, setting an NCAA record by passing for more than 200 yards for the 29th straight time. He did not throw an interception.

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Todd Reesing threw for 313 yards and four touchdowns, raising his three-game total to 831 yards and 10 scores, and Kansas remained unbeaten.

EVANSTON, Ill. — Duke snapped the longest losing streak in the country at 22 games. Thaddeus Lewis threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns for the Blue Devils, whose last win came Sept. 17, 2005 against Virginia Military Institute. Duke (1-2) hadn’t defeated a major college team since Nov. 13, 2004, against Clemson, a span of 27 games.

CANTON — Billy Bob Orsagh and Dominic Liberati combined for 362 passing yards and five touchdowns. Orsagh was 22-of-28 for 294 yards and four TDs, and Liberti completed 9-of-14 passes for 68 yards and a score. The Pioneers (2-1) also scored two defensive touchdowns in the rout.
