Fund will make grants
to programs for youths

YOUNGSTOWN — The Young Philanthropist Fund is calling for grant applications from organizations with youth-oriented programs in the Mahoning Valley, with special consideration given to programs promoting the practice of philanthropy. The total disbursement will be $2,500.

The fund was established last year with the goal of introducing the Valley’s younger generation to the role of philanthropy. Grant applications are available at the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley’s Web site, www.cfmv.org. The deadline for returns is Nov. 1.

InfoCision schedules
open houses Thursday

AKRON — InfoCision Management Corp., which is based in Akron, will have open houses at its Mahoning Valley call centers from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday to show off its facilities and let people know what careers are available. The centers are at 20 Federal Plaza West, Youngstown; 5740 Interstate Blvd., Austintown; 6951 Southern Blvd., Boardman; and 117 Cascade Galleria, 100 S. Jefferson St., New Castle, Pa.

InfoCision operates 31 call centers at 13 locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
