WASHINGTON, Pa. — Bobby Swallow tied a school record with six touchdown passes and contributed 307 of 675 yards of total offense to pace the Presidents. Swallow (West Branch High), who threw four of his touchdown passes in the first quarter, connected with David Ravida for three touchdowns on passes of 30, 2, and 29 yards. W&J (2-0) had 342 yards rushing. Swallow completed 20 of 25 passes. Hanover (0-3) scored on Josh Juett’s 3-yard run late in the second quarter.
Bethany 66, Saint Vincent 7
BETHANY, W. Va. — Nick Neratka ran 13 times for 109 yards and scored on runs of 9 and 6 yards for the Bison. Bethany is 2-0 for the first time since 2001 and set school records for total offense (739 yards) and rushing yards (482). Bethany jumped out to a 49-0 lead at the half over Saint Vincent (0-3).
Thiel 13, Albion 10
ALBION, Mich. — Junior running back Dan Hess rushed for 166 yards and a pair of touchdowns on a career-high 35 carries in leading Thiel (1-2). Thiel posted a season-high 207 yards rushing and finished with a 31:16-28:44 edge in time of possession. Sophomore quarterback Willie Bova completed 9-of-21 passes for 80 yards.
Allegheny 20, Hiram 7
HIRAM — Allegheny (1-1) got off to a fast start in the first quarter that started with a 60-yard opening kickoff return by Jim Lieb which led to a 1-yard touchdown run by Devin Raynor giving Allegheny a quick 7-0 lead just 1:41 into the game. Midway through the first quarter, the Gators again had the ball, but the Hiram (0-2) defense forced Allegheny to punt.
Walsh 43, Trinity International 14
CANTON — Walsh (2-1) rolled up 511 yards of total offense, led by tailback Clinton Blossomgame who rushed for over 100 yards for the second straight week, totaling 135 yards. He scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter. Quarterback Marc Pullen completed 11-21 passes for 209 yards, with two touchdowns. He hit Rob Lash for a 33-yard score and Mike McGill on a 19-yard scoring strike. Trinity’s (1-2) score came with 6:38 to play, when Jacob Sheedlo caught a nine-yard TD pass from back-up quarterback Ron Hamilton.
Grove City 23, Thomas More 16
FORT MITCHELL, Ky. — Senior tailback Matt Weil ran for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns while junior cornerback Mike Baker intercepted two passes in the end zone to help Grove City pull out the verdict. Grove City (1-0) has sole possession of first place in the PAC.
Slippery Rock 35, Bowie St. 7

BOWIE, MD. — Nate Crookshank passed for 163 yards and four touchdowns and Corey Manfull (United) rushed for a career-high 159 yards and a score to ignite The Rock (3-0).
