St. Elizabeth Health Center recently bought and put into operation a da Vinci Surgical System to assist in
minimally invasive prostate surgeries. Advantages to patients:

Less chance of damage to nerves that control erections.

Less pain after surgery.

Smaller incisions.

Reduced complications, such as
infection.

Shortened hospital stays. Most patients are up within a couple of hours and out of the hospital in one day.
