XYOUNGSTOWN — Dr. Amy Renee Toth and Jay Nathaniel Dahl exchanged nuptial vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Aug. 4 at Powers Auditorium.

The Rev. Bill Johnson officiated for the daughter of Jeff and Shelly Toth of Austintown and the son of Kevin Dahl and Jane Dahl, both of Erie.

Afterward the couple accepted congratulations at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.

Since returning from a honeymoon in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii, the couple live in Akron.

The bodice and the chapel train of the bride’s A-line gown of white satin were embellished with Swarovski crystals. She wore her mother’s fingertip veil and garter and carried red roses.

Light-blue dresses were worn by the honor attendant, Christina Toth, and the bridesmaids, Ericka Cunningham, Melissa Jones, Ashley Horvath and Mikki Horvath.

The duties of best man were shared by Jim Chester, Kevin DeFrancesco and Matt Burkett. Groomsmen were Ian Dahl and Dr. Jim Horvath.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Thiel College and her doctor of chiropractic degree at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill. She plans to establish her practice in Austintown.

The groom graduated magna cum laude his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Thiel College and his master’s in environmental health and engineering from Gannon University in Erie. He is a project manager with BJAAM Environmental Inc., in Canal Fulton.
