Odom-Bjorkgren wedding will be in park gardens

XBOARDMAN — Announcing plans for the upcoming marriage of Amber Odom and Billy Bjorkgren, both of 1841 Wetherburn Drive, Columbus, are Ed and Jody Odom, 7025 Mill Creek Blvd., parents of the bride-elect.

The future groom is a son of William Bjorkgren and Maryann Schafer, both of Columbus.

The couple will be married in an open ceremony that will take place at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, and a reception will be held by invitation at the D.D. and Velma Davis Center.

The bride-to-be graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in human ecology specialization financial planning. She is in TA Global transactions with Citi in Columbus.

Her fiancé received a bachelor’s degree in business from Columbus State and is employed by Fifth Third Bank in Columbus.
